Jude has lived in Nelson most of her life, her family was originally from Blenheim and has connections in Marlborough.
Jude loves living in Nelson and all the region has to offer. Together with her husband John, they have brough their children up here.
Both of Jude’s parents have died and having gone through the planning process she has a understanding of what families are faced with when a death occurs.
Jude brings to our team care and some understanding for our families with the same care she experience through her bereavement process. She is committed to see things handled with dignity from start to the finish of your journey.
April Buckingham

April was born in Nelson and has returned from the Waitaki District after 50 years away. April has had previous experience as a funeral director and assistant embalmer and is delighted to now be part of the Cremation Care team.
She is following in her father’s footsteps as he also worked in the funeral industry here in Nelson for over 20 years. April has a passion for taking care of grieving families and their loved ones. Her love of people shows in her ability to make every farewell as personal as possible.
April breeds and shows her small Shetland Ponies but has a love for all animals. Her wee dog Chloe is fast becoming part of the office.
